Invest in the future of Camp Wanocksett
A CAMPAIGN FOR HEART OF NEW ENGLAND COUNCIL
Help Us Build a New Dining Hall
Join us in building upon the 100+ years of Scouting experiences at Camp Wanocksett by replacing our aging dining hall with a brand new facility. With your support of $100 or $250 or $1,000+ we can meet our total fundraising goal of $4.2M and continue to provide life-changing camping experiences at Camp Wanocksett for generations to come.
Remember Summer Camp?
The smell of woodsmoke; the crackling of a campfire on a starry night; the shock of diving into a frigid lake on a hot July afternoon; the friendships, forged in a week, that persist decades later and miles apart.
For more than 100 years Treasure Valley Scout Reservation and Camp Wanocksett have been places where young people grow — building confidence, friendships, and character that lasts a lifetime. But today the camp experience you remember is threatened. Facilities built in the last century are inadequate for the needs of today’s campers.
CAMP WANOCKSETT DINING HALL CAMPAIGN $4.2M
The dining hall is the heart of a summer camp — and right now, our dining hall can’t keep up. Originally built in the early 1960s, it was designed for a different era. Today, inadequate seating and storage, limited food prep space, and outdated equipment and infrastructure make it insufficient for our growing weekly attendance.
To date we have raised:
$264,949
towards a goal of $4.2M for the construction of a new dining hall.
6.3% of our goal for this phase!
