Quinapoxet District

Welcome to the Quinapoxset District. Our district is made up of 89 units,1 Sea Scout Crew, 2 Venture Crews, 31 Cub Scout Packs, and 53 Scouting units. As of June 2026 there are over 1,886 youth and 990 adult volunteers as part of these units.

A Scouting district is a geographical area of the Scouting America local council, which is determined by the council executive board. District leaders mobilize resources to ensure the growth and success of Scouting units within the district’s territory. The purpose of the district is to work through chartered organizations and community groups to organize and support successful units. The end result of effective district support is more youth members receiving a better program. Districts carry out the policies and programs in their respective territories. The purpose of the council is to guide and support its districts for the achievement of the movement’s purpose. Councils establish policies and programs.

Quinapoxet District Eagle project advisor request & application submission

This form is used at two stages of the Eagle Scout process.

1. Request an Eagle Scout Project Advisor
Scouts should use this form to request an Eagle Scout Project Advisor. During a formal review an Advisor will guide Scouts through the planning and future execution of the Eagle Scout Service Project, helping ensure the project meets the requirements and expectations for the Eagle Scout rank.

2. Submit Your Eagle Scout Rank Application
After the Eagle Scout Service Project has been completed, and all Eagle Scout rank requirements have been met, Scouts needs to complete this form to notify the Advancement Committee that they are submitting their Eagle Scout Rank Application and supporting documentation for review.

Quinapoxet Leader Spark Plug Award

Do you have an amazing unit volunteer that deserves recognition? This is a chance to recognize one person in your unit (Pack, Troop, Crew..) who has been a “spark plug“:  That person who gets things going, keeps things going, and steps up when needed! (Recipient and presenter MUST be present at the Quinapoxet District Awards dinner in April.)

Any paper nomination or applications for Leader Awards in the Quinapoxet District should be returned to Jen Colby in person or at jen.colby@hnescouting.org for processing.
