Quinapoxet District

Welcome to the Quinapoxset District. Our district is made up of 104 units,1 Sea Scout Crew, 3 Venture Crews, 38 Cub Scout Packs, and 62 Scouting units (including 12 Female units). As of January of 2025 there are over 2,290 youth and 1,165 adult volunteers as part of these units.
A Scouting district is a geographical area of the Scouting America local council, which is determined by the council executive board. District leaders mobilize resources to ensure the growth and success of Scouting units within the district’s territory. The purpose of the district is to work through chartered organizations and community groups to organize and support successful units. The end result of effective district support is more youth members receiving a better program. Districts carry out the policies and programs in their respective territories. The purpose of the council is to guide and support its districts for the achievement of the movement’s purpose. Councils establish policies and programs.
