Experience firsthand what it’s like to be an aviation supervisor, aircraft mechanic, avionics technician, flight engineer, pilot, or air traffic controller.

Participants will learn about career pathways in aviation and the educational and training requirements, while networking with professionals working in the aviation field.
Aviation Careers Exploring is a partnership between Scouting America, Massachusetts Port Authority/Worcester Regional Airport (Massport), Worcester Public Schools, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Atlantic Aviation, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and JetBlue Airways. It represents one of the first middle school-focused curriculum of its kind in the country. This initiative exemplifies the power in corporate/agency/chamber partnerships for youth workforce development, and how together we are creating programming opportunities that will give Worcester students the chance to learn about the many educational and career aviation pathways available to them right here at home.
