The Distinguished Citizen Award recognizes extraordinary leadership in the Worcester county area of central Massachusetts. Honoring distinguished citizenship delivers a message to our youth that character counts. Highlighting the example of noteworthy citizens helps to inspire our youth to lead, to accept responsibility, and to care about principles and causes beyond self-interest.
We are pleased to announce the 2024 honorees of the Distinguished Citizen Award are Sharon A. Bernard, Former Director of the Fitchburg Public Library, and Jim Hohman, Senior Vice President, First Financial Trust.

Investment in Leadership Golf Classic

The Investment in Leadership Golf Classic has a long and proud history, running for 41 years in Worcester county. This fundraiser brings together Central Massachusetts business and community leaders to participate in an outstanding event for a worthy cause. Last year, over $50,000 was raised in support of youth development programs, and we look forward to eclipsing that amount in 2024.Join us on Monday August 5th at Shining Rock Golf Club.
