Please join us in welcoming Havens Kon as our new Assistant Scout Executive / COO. We are excited to have Havens join our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on the communities we serve. Havens will give leadership to the districts in executing all aspects of the Council’s strategic plan including unit support, youth member and unit growth initiatives, and commissioner service, as well as aspects of the Council operations.
Havens’ passion for building strong communities and helping teams reach their full potential has guided her career for more than 15 years in the nonprofit and education sectors. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech and a Master of Social Work from Boston College, she served in organizations including City Year and Boston University, focusing on youth development, leadership, and community impact. She’s thrilled to bring those experiences to the Assistant Scout Executive role and looks forward to partnering with volunteers, families, youth, and staff to advance the mission of Scouting throughout our council.
